Daniel and Lesa Shilling
Mission III Academy became a ministry opportunity through Daniel and Lesa's leadership. Daniel, a self-employed farmer, has been in church leadership for years and serves on the board along with his wife Lesa who is currently the Chairman and the Headmaster for the school. Lesa formerly taught in the local high school and college arena before beginning her current endeavors with MIIIA. Lesa holds a BA in English/History, a BA in English Education, and a Master of Arts in English. She teaches in addition to her administrative responsibilities and brings years of experience in college/career planning for high school students.
Chris and Jerri Ballard
Jerri has served for over 30 years in numerous leadership roles in the local church, spending untold hours in children's ministry, and she has also played an integral role for years in the local Operation Christmas Child ministry. As a homeschool mom with a B.S. in Business Administration, she brings a plethora of expertise to the team, serving as Secretary of the Board, Deputy Headmaster (Grades K-12), teacher, event organizer, public relations specialist, etc. Her husband, Dr. Chris Ballard, has served numerous years in church leadership and implements his faith as he cares for local patients through the medical field; he joins Jerri on the MIIIA team as a member of the Board of Directors.
Britt and Fleta Shepherd
Britt is a CPA/CFO with over 20 years of experience in finance which makes him the perfect fit for Treasurer of the Board. His wife, Fleta, holds a Bachelor and Master's degree in education and taught locally for 21 years, earning a reputation as an amazing educator, before joining the MIIIA team. Fleta served as a teacher for Mission III for three years as an invaluable asset, building a strong foundation for the K-2 program. Her expertise and genuine love for the Lord enables her to bring invaluable wisdom to the Board of Directors.
Todd and Renae Robertson
Todd and Renae have been serving MIIIA for years and have officially joined the board, offering years of experience in church leadership. They both have a deep walk with the Lord and are beautiful examples of Christ's hands and feet, setting an example as servant leaders in the Kingdom. As Vice-Chairman of the Board, Todd leads well and Renae joins him on the Board of Directors as an invaluable encourager who is passionate about prayer, God's Word, evangelism, discipleship, all things of the Lord.
Angie Garrett
Angie has been a prayer warrior for MIIIA since its birth and now serves on the board as a source of wisdom and encouragement. She has a heart to serve sacrificially and is a great asset to the MIIIA board of directors. She's often hard to find because she is constantly behind the scenes working steadily with a cheerful heart.
