These Are A Few Of My Favorite Things

At the end of our 2024-2025 school year, we asked students to share a few of their favorite things about Mission III Academy. One of my favorite things from a very lengthy list is the community amongst the teachers. God has truly blessed MIIIA with amazing image bearers who bring me such joy.

I compiled a very condensed list of what the students shared. I hope this gives a brief snippet into all God is doing in this ministry!

What They Said About the Teachers:

• My teachers are interested in me, not just my schoolwork.

• My favorite thing: the teachers

• Care about each one of us

• Prioritize prayer

• Personalized approach

• Patient

• So much love they have for students

• Engage and encourage students; always there for me

• Help me see things from a different perspective

• I like how I can always ask the teacher questions.

• They make sure we know God is here for us no matter what.

• Whenever I have a question, my teachers make so much sense when they explain it to me.

• My teachers are the best people ever.

Other Noted Things:

• A holy atmosphere

• I love Bible class.

• Opportunity for dual credit is such a blessing.

• A place to go when I need comfort

• I fell away from God but the school brought me closer.

• Deep and provoking conversations

• How I have grown closer to God while being here

• The check-ins give me something to think about for the rest of my day.

• We always go to God in all we do together as a school.

• I’ve been able to become friends with so many people I didn’t know before.

• My favorite thing: seeing friends

• I love working from home.

• I highly recommend Mission III to anyone who wants to try something different.

• I like how the high schoolers tell a testimony and pray.

• I feel like God really has used this school and is going to keep using this school. I never want to leave it!

• Extreme focus on God and the Bible

• You have an opportunity to go on trips that can impact you and others like going to Love Packages.

• Ever since I joined Mission III, I have watched my attitude and life change in miraculous ways.

• I always feel safe here, that I can speak openly to my teachers.

• By far, my favorite part about MIIIA is the environment at school.

• Intentional class times where you dig into God’s word.

Five years ago, I had no idea what God was about to do. I reckon even now I don't truly grasp all He is still unfolding. What I do know is it's a beautiful and holy thing.
